Join artist Rebecca Beinart and writer Wallace Heim for a creative writing workshop exploring Crow Park in Keswick. The workshop will be based in Keswick Museum, surrounded by historical and geological artifacts from the local area.

To begin the workshop, you’ll be invited to bring an object that connects you to the landscape (more details shared on booking). Through a series of creative exercises we will explore writing from different perspectives, and play with the relationship between objects, stories and inhabitants. Each participant will get the opportunity to create a short piece of writing. No previous experience necessary.

This workshop is part of an ongoing art project focussed on Crow Park as part of Trust New Art, the National Trust's programme of contemporary art. The workshop is open to anyone living in the area or who is familiar with Crow Park.

For more information on the project please visit the Crow Park project page.

The workshop will take place in Gallery 2 in Keswick Museum, with plenty of space to maintain social distancing. We will share safety information before the event. If the workshop date is affected by further Covid-19 restrictions, the session will take place at the later date of Monday 18 January instead.
